twilight

yes i'm part of that crazy girlie twilight fanatics club minus the screaming, camping out, and sorry i don't make youtube videos dedicated to edward/bella. (doesn't mean i don't watch them and think how they could be better)

i'm excited only two and half weeks left of being a real college student. Next semester I will be working like a real person but the difference is I will being paying to work for free. The only similarity between this semester and next semester is I will still be poor like a college student.
Freaking out a little bit. But I just need to get in the groove and I will be okay.

slow motion

today is thursday. I've been waiting for it to be thursday since last thursday. Thursday means I have turned in 10,000 assignments, worked way to much and taken two midterms. I'm sitting here in the catalyst waiting for my advisor appointment (I missed my original appointment on tuesday) and then I'm off to my hour of essay writing on bureaucracies. When I'm done I get to pack up my car and drive back to KC. What's so great about going home for four days? It's great because I'm not going to be hear and I not worry about school, work, roommates and anything else I worry about being a college student. It's like taking a break from on manhattan life to take up another life elsewhere. After dinner with friends. I plan to do some laundry and finish small assignments that are due on monday and tuesday next week, tonight. All of my friends and family work tomorrow, so it will be just me up late doing my no-sleeping-school-work habit that I've grown used to. So when friday hits, I get to work at my fun job as a para and getting paid way more for way less stress. Then I get to get all gussied up and go to a good friend's wedding with my very attractive nerdy boyfriend who I haven't seen in a few weeks.

Yet, I'm still here in the catalyst...waiting.

tired

I'm tired. I'm sure all of you are tired.
I feel like I'm treading water in a river and moving backwards.
I'm to the point of why even bother.
Don't worry. no slitting of the wrists yet, just extra ice cream outings.

work work work taco bell!

So on this wonderful fall break we had I took an extra job to make some extra cash. I know I know I should have stayed home slept in and worked on some homework. (which really means watching sex and the city w/my roommates all day) So I got up at 6:30 and met my friends/crew at their house in Ogden. We then drove to Junction City to the renovated opera house. It's very nice. They just had their opening on friday and were getting ready for community theater to move in for the performance of the Music man. My friend/boss employed our other friend and I to help move heavy things and rig heavy things to hang on stage during the show. Make a long day short, we moved and climbed and hung heavy things from 8-5. I got home with 20 mins to spare before I had to teach my karate class at the boys and girls club. Dead on my feet, I put on the best performance ever just like I do every monday. I am the perkiest, smiley, nicest, most patient, organized martial arts instructor those kids and parents have ever seen. (i believe this is why i'm a zombie and unable to show any of these characteristics for the rest of the week and i apologize) As soon as 9:15 hit, Taco Bell here I come. Also another monday night habit is to eat taco bell with my friend who I only see on mondays for TB. Tonight she was unable to make it, but i still got my fill. Now I'm off to shower. See everyone bright and early tomorrow!

weekend

So Friday I got to work all day till my resume critique. I feel like the guy who did my resume critique didn't really know what he was doing. He marked on my paper, but was unsure of himself and gave me a book about resumes. I could of just picked up the book and fixed my resume myself without the uncertain meeting for 20 minutes. I'm not bitter, just annoyed I had to leave work early.
I had to go back to work at 630. Claremont Trio was the show that McCain put on. It was three women playing the cello, violin, and piano. They were really great, but it was kind of boring for one who doesn't really care for classical music. They all had pretty dresses. I was thankful we got out of there before 10. I hate working late shows.
